me: ya, freezing cold! i've been sick for two weeks, now, so keeping up with laundry hasn't been a huge priority. the weekend is here, the machines should be running all day today, at least. DM: I love the pattern and the colors.
February 25, 2015 · oh, the fond memories of our year in Thompson. It was a warm winter, that year, with just a few days of -50. The ONLY time that they closed the schools was day five of a six day ice storm and a sander ended up in a ravine on one of the roads that one of our buses was to go down. Driver refused to take kids down that road - for good reason! The rest of the super cold days, I simply asked the kids to wait inside for me, and I would wait for them. It worked out very well, with only one child who would insist on playing outside while waiting for me! The next day, it all started to thaw!
