1 white or yellow cake mix
1 can of sliced pineapple
10 marchino cherries (approx)
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup margerine
Mix cake as directed on box.
Melt brown sugar and margerine in bottom of large cake pan.
(Melt margerine in microwave first).
Place pineapple in brown sugar with marchino cherries cut in half in centers of pineapples.
Top with cake mix and bake as instructions on side of cake mix indicates.
Hint: Instead of using water or milk in cake mix, use the juice from the pineapple,
adding water if the juice isn't enough to make the measurement of fluid that is required.
Hint: Turn cake out as soon as it comes out of the oven as if it is left in,
it will stick to the bottom of the cake pan.
