Welcome to the new Kovacs family website. I am Donna, happily married to Joe and mother of Steven, Sarah, and Wesley. I am also proud Seanma (Grandma, pronounced Shenna) of Sarah and Brad's boys, Colton and Vyron.
We are living just outside of my hometown, Simcoe, just around the corner from the farm that Joe grew up on. This is quite literally the closest that we've lived to "home" in our 30 years of marriage and what a blessing that is!
Joe works at Trackless Vehicles in Courtland, doing various jobs there. He still gets his telescope out when he can, though not quite so thrilled about the night that a racoon wanted to see the stars, too!
I continue to be a part-time student with the Christian Leaders Institute. I am a licensed and ordained minister, and a life coach, both paid and volunteer, depending on the needs of my clients. I'm between my other jobs; school bus driver for Sharp bus lines, and looking forward to another season of driving farm bus for a local family-owned farm. I still find my self busy with some ministry work, though most has been shut down through the pandemic. Due to the excess spare time and lack of income, I also have two very small weekly paper routes. It's like getting paid to go to the gym! :D Just not big pay! LOL
It's getting to bee difficult to keep track! We have been beekeeping, together as a family since 2015. We supply a vendor that goes to a few local farm markets. We did not expect to expand our business so quickly, but are grateful for the opportunity and amazed by public response (and demand!) for our honey! The markets where our honey is sold while still available include Simcoe, Port Dover, and Western Fair and Masonville Place in London. We have another couple of people hoping to be able to carry our honey and will update as we are able.
