March 27/16 : oh, such an interesting day! Worked with the bee hives - one is weaker than expected, but they all had lots of girls, flying around the bee yard! Gave them all some pollen supplement, they'll like that, even though there's lots of pollen coming in! Carried the smoker back to the house and looked back... there was my sweet hubby, sitting down, just watching the busy bees. Does my heart good. Got back to the house and the chickens and guinea hens were freaking right out. No wonder - a bald eagle, circling overhead, trying to pick the most delicious. Eagle finally gave up and flew towards the lake. Just went for one final walk, perfect end to a perfect day.

CA: I've seen him or a family member over 24 hwy at 19 two years ago. Also 10 years ago on Brant 11th Concession just south of Harley. Where did you see this one Donna? Me: windham conc 13 at E 1/4 line, south east corner (Simcoe, ON) CA:Amazing the span of their territory? ❤ Me:I seriously need to look that up sometime. I did see what I'm certain were two pairs in flight, at the corner of Mall Rd and Schaeffer side road, by Delhi. One pair, I was able to identify for sure, the other flew away where I couldn't see well enough. Size and flight patterns were seemingly identical.
