Keeping track, not to keep a pity party going, but to know what's been overcome! Thankfully, seemingly more healthy, every year! Yay! It's been a long road! It's also nice to see the well-wishes through the years, as well. No matter the road, we never travel alone! 💖
March 5, 2017 · might be a rough day when the sound that wakes me is the gurgled sound of my own breathing when I turned to lay on my back in the night. and I know it's not just me. (((hugs))) to everyone else out there who's under the weather. EM: Get well soon AM: Hope you are feeling better soon xo
Oct 2/14: has been sick with a cold for about a week, now, and pretty sure it's gone to respiratory infection. Just need to get through one more day and then another nice, quiet weekend to try to recover - if I can keep from painting some more in the basement! Somehow, "take it easy" never comes up on my to do list. It's just not my style! I will try to be good! MD: if you are having respiratory problems you shouldnt be painting... me: I painted last weekend, as part of my "not doing anything but taking it easy for the first time in a long time" weekend. MD: u sound like me Donna, crazy me: I'm eager to finish and move the furniture back into place! It's going to be really difficult to resist finishing this weekend MD: try... me: oh, I'll try! LOL I'm also ADD, so "try" might last for ... oh, look, a squirrel! me: this is when the nice lady talks to herself, "focus, Donna, focus!" RF: I pray for healing & rest! *hugs* me: Thanks! DR: right with you there, woke up sick WM: Hope you feel fine soon, Donna ML: I buy horehound candy at Hewitt's store in Hagersville. It works wonderfully on clearing the lungs of congestion. BV: Down girl, down! me: My mom loves horehound, I'm not such a fan, but I should give it a try. me: Joe went to bed early, with a fever and a bucket. ML: HA had that flu. She is better except if seems to have gone into bronchitis. She is taking horehound, onions and coffee for it. HA: Yes... lot's and lot's of coffee! Erm, and horehound and onions. me: But I don't like coffee! I did read that apples are extremely good for lung function and apple cider is even better and Wes has been wanting cider, lately, so I've been drinking it too. We also have some apples, here, I just never get around to eating them. me: Wes and I were going to try to scoot up to Coyles to see about horehound but we ran out of time. Wednesday is my next day that's not rushed, hopefully then I can go.
