"and these were the children born to him there:
Shammua, Shobab, Nathan and Solomon. These four were by Bathsheba daughter of Ammiel."
Absalom was son of the third wife, who was the daughter of King Talmai and then Solomon was the son of Bathsheba - one or two marriages that should have never happened. It's interesting how people's lives unfold, either while following God or while they wander from Him. David's life was full of heartache, too, which was the result of his wanderings from God. God is not afraid to allow natural consequences to happen in our lives. God's grace is amazing, so undeserved, yet so merciful. What will we choose to do with God's grace in our lives? Will we seek His mercy and blessings or will we try to run and hide from Him?
