What really struck me from this chapter is the stark difference between David, who would not lay a hand on God's anointed, and anyone who plotted against David (God's anointed).
Who are we to judge? Absolutely no one. Only God knows the truth behind someone's sins, and only He knows what is right. Also, just about every sin that could ever be considered, is not beyond Jesus' redemptive power. One of the greatest wonders is how God can not only redeem anyone, but the potential that God has for each of us. We must remember, "But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19:26, ESV)
