No, we don't just stick our heads in the sand and ignore the events of the world, but we can't let these events consume us, either. We aren't to live in fear nor ignorance. We are to share the Hope that the world needs in a way that would be most desirable. We might consider the work of Christ while He was on the Earth. Sure, He flipped a couple of tables because people were using the church to rob the poor. But if we look deep into His Earthly ministry, He was humble and compassionate. The King of the Universe - humble? I'm not always as humble as I want to be. Still a work in progress. <3
