"My heart cries out over Moab;
her fugitives flee as far as Zoar,
as far as Eglath Shelishiyah.
They go up the hill to Luhith,
weeping as they go;
on the road to Horonaim
they lament their destruction."
My heart cries out for this world. There is so much pain and so little hope, according to all this world has to offer. Sometimes, I see Christians who seem pretty smug in telling the world that they get what they deserve. This also breaks my heart. People are suffering and dying, not even knowing where to find Hope. Can we even find hope from someone who thinks in terms of what we deserve? That's what Karma is all about - getting what you deserve, which also means not helping those who are less fortunate than you. And Karma is the exact opposite of what Jesus offers us - He offers us Grace; undeserved favour. He asks us to care for those who cannot care for themselves, including those in prison. We cannot earn our salvation. We cannot boast about our righteousness. Every person has just as much right to Heaven as the next person, as long as they're still breathing. It might even be during their last breath when God speaks to their heart.
